Sizzling Skewers put some extra sizzle into your BBQ!
- 350g pack HERTA® Frankfurters Classics, cut into bitesized chunks
- 3 Medium red onions, cut into wedges
- 1 Red pepper, deseeded and cut into large chunks
- 1 Yellow pepper, deseeded and cut into large chunks
For the marinade:
- 6tbsp tomato chutney
- Juice of ½ a lime
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Freshly dressed salad leaves, to serve
- Soak 4-6 wooden skewers in water for at least an hour (alternatively use metal skewers).
- Thread chunks of frankfurters and vegetables onto the skewers and set aside.
- Mix together the marinade ingredients and brush over the skewers then leave for 10 minutes for the flavours to develop.
- Grill or barbecue for 5-10 minutes, turning a couple of times and basting with any remaining marinade.
